I am now closing in on draft 5 of The Shooter. The above picture is a clue from the book. I should finish it sometime tomorrow. I’m now at the point where I am typically focused on what I need to take out of the novel. I always have little ideas and things that I’ve put in, hoping to make them work that just aren’t going to make the final cut. This is one of the final things I do right before I’m ready to call the novel done.
In other news, the map for Malcolm Braxton and the Dragon War is done. This is my first time commissioning artwork and it has gone very well.
I’m also getting very excited for the next project I’m going to be working on after I finish up with The Shooter. I anticipate being able to get this next novel done before I start on the next Mitch Turner novel, which I plan to release at the end of 2026!
